Building on our Defender Surf Edition design, this pure design is built to enjoy driving on the beach, getting to where the surfs at and then keeping the beach party alive. The clean lines of this Keswick green Defender 90 soft top just calls for loading up the boards and catching some waves. The car was broken down into the smallest components and meticulously rebuilt ground up, including fully rebuilt engine and fuel injection pump and gearbox and transfer case rebuilt by Ashcroft UK. Tasteful exterior enhancements have been made throughout including an old-school front nudge bar with 7” rally lamps, steel steering guard, side runners, and NAS style rear step bumper.

Keeping it light and fun

The interior is finished in a diamond stitched beige leatherette, combining sharp looks with an easy-to-maintain material — it’s built to be used. Floors are covered in Land Rover rubber mats to be able to be easily cleaned out after a sandy and salty day at the beach. The European style canvas top rolls up fully across all sides to let in the summer. But beach means party and this Defender 90 is equipped with an up-sized sound system to keep that party going; a Sony Bluetooth media receiver is parted with a high-output amplifier, four speakers and JBL 800 W subwoofer mounted into the back of the cubby box.
